Resuming tourist tours for transit passengers

Turkish Airlines announced the resumption of the tours it organizes for transit passengers to explore the historical and cultural landmarks of Istanbul, after a two-year hiatus.

According to what was published by Cumhuriyet newspaper and translated by Turkey in Arabic, the company reported that the “Touristanbul” project offers free tours for international transit passengers whose waiting times for their next flight, at Istanbul Airport, range between 6 and 24 hours.

And she added, "6 different tours are organized daily from Istanbul Airport, in which travelers visit the historical places in the city, accompanied by tour guides, and then are returned to the airport."
